Darshel Diaz
From a young age, Darshel was fascinated by the way the human body moves, heals, and adapts. Growing up playing a variety of sports gave her a deep appreciation for movement, while also sparking her curiosity about how the body works as a whole. That curiosity eventually led her to study Osteopathy. What connected Darshel to Osteopathy was its holistic approach — the belief that the mind, body, and spirit are all connected, and that healing happens best when the whole person is supported. This philosophy continues to guide the way she works with her patients today. Darshel works with individuals of all ages, with a special interest in women’s health and paediatric care. She is passionate about supporting individuals as they move through each stage of life, and enjoys creating a supportive and compassionate space for healing. From time to time, she also brings her osteopathic practice into the water, where the calming and therapeutic qualities of the water can offer a unique healing experience. Alongside her clinical practice, Darshel is actively involved with the Ontario Association of Osteopathic Manual Practitioners (OAO), contributing to the Diversity, Equity, Inclusion and Accessibility (DEIA) Working Group, the Research Committee, and the Professional Practice and Standards Committee. Outside of her practice, Darshel loves spending time with her family, being in the water, travelling, and trying new things.
